Oh Hiiii everyone! Long time no email. SPERO here, reporting from Queens.- hope you have all been enjoying the summer..we have been enjoying a little time off from the hectic Northern State schedule we have become accustomed to, and I have to say, it's been lovely.

Even so, we did manage to get down to Texas a few weeks ago for a few shows - our friend Wayne brought us down to Austin play his amazing b-day bash (Yes, NS is avail for private engagements!) It was called Wayne-a-palooza and Chuck Brody and I both nearly won a BMW, sort of. (pic of us with Wayne on the red carpet attached!)

Then we headed up to Houston to celebrate the 14th anniversary of Houston's biggest lesbian bar, "Chances", where we discovered a new drink, 'Tuaca', which we have never seen before or since (what WAS that masked drink???)..UNTIL...Sprout spied a bottle sitting on the shelf next to a bottle of "Hot Sex" at her local 'package store.' Kids, STAY AWAY FROM THE TUACA!! It's all caramel liquid goodness and happy fun time until someone loses an eye, or pukes out the side of a rented SUV. Other than that, we had a BLAST, thank you Tami!!!

We have some awesome shows coming up this fall that we are REALLY excited about - first off, we are headlining the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago's glorious Wicker Park on Sept 13. To those of you who think headlining a craft fair may sound a bit D-list, you have obviously never been to the Renegade Craft Fair - it occurs in several cities (Sprout and I hit it up last year in NYC) and features some of the most innovative, hip, fabulous crafts you have ever seen. This is not your Grandma's crafts fair! (no offense, Grandma!) Come enjoy a lovely fall day with us in Chi-town and knock off half of your holiday shopping in one day which is DEF what i will be doing. See you there! Info below!

Then, the following weekend, we make our triumphant return to Canada (oh heyyy border patrol!!) for Ladyfest Ottowa on Sept 19. And we will be playing a show in Toronto the following night, Sept 20, details to come!

We also will be returning to one of our FAVE cities, Portland, OR for the Siren Nation Music Fest on November 7 where we will once again share the stage w our friends the Trucks!
