LongRoad Band Letter

Hey all,

Here's the latest from the Road.

We have had a couple of ripping live performances in the past couple of weeks, at The Starland Ballroom in New Jersey (with Candlebox and Driveblind) and Arlene's Grocery on the lower east side in Manhattan.   We wanted to send out our thanks for all of you who have come out to support us.  We have received more great feedback than we could have imagined.   We are truly indebted to our fans, and can't wait to get out there for everyone again.

And it just so happens that we will be pretty busy in September playing in the New York/New Jersey area in support of our debut CD "This Too Shall Pass."   We will be at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ (September 8th), the Axis Lounge in Carlstadt, NJ (September 15th) and Blaggards in NYC (September 30th) and have a follow-up appearance at Arlene’s Grocery on Saturday night, October 14th at 11 p.m.

We are also beginning to enter rotation on internet radio stations: Time Goes By entered rotation at Blow Up Radio on July 25, 2005, Somebody’s Princess was added to Podcast #45 – July 24, 2006 on the Great American Music Hour, and Goin’ Blind, Somebody’s Princess and Low Ground have all entered rotation on Mixed Bag Sound System.

Also, we have started to form some ideas for new material, which we plan to roll out in some of our performances soon and in the free MP3 section of the newsletter from time to time.   We are looking at getting back into the studio in early 2007 to record our second album.  Stay tuned . . . Meanwhile, come check us out at Longroad.tv and MySpace.com.
